Bring SoftWave TRT into your practice — without buying the device.

Advanced shockwave technology like SoftWave TRT can represent roughly $75,000 in capital equipment. Wave The Pain Away gives qualified practices a different way in: treat patients, build real demand, and generate revenue — before you ever have to make that purchase.

No device purchase. No equipment financing. No commitment before you know your demand.

Two ways to get SoftWave TRT
Option A — buy the device yourself $75,000 The equipment cost most practices assume they'd have to pay before treating a single patient.
Option B — start with Wave The Pain Away $0 What it actually costs your practice to begin offering SoftWave TRT to patients.

Illustrative — see practice economics for the full model.

Why take the risk first?

Why would you spend $75,000 before you know what demand looks like?

Most practices don't decide against SoftWave because they doubt the technology. They hesitate because of the purchase order that has to come before a single patient is treated.

What is Wave The Pain Away?

A practice-access program, not a device rental.

Wave The Pain Away is a SoftWave TRT practice-access and implementation program built for qualified healthcare providers who want to offer advanced shockwave therapy without purchasing the equipment themselves.

The device is only one part of what we provide. Our job is to make the entire introduction of SoftWave into your practice simple — from the first conversation through a full treatment day.

Technology access

Scheduled access to SoftWave TRT equipment — no purchase, lease, or financing agreement for the device.

Implementation

Treatment-day planning, scheduling logistics, and workflow built around how your practice already runs.

Training & onboarding

Your clinical team learns the protocol, positioning, and documentation before the first patient is treated.

Patient education

Resources to help your front desk and providers introduce SoftWave to the patients who are the right fit.

The missing piece is smaller than you think

You already have the patients, the room, and the staff.

Most qualified practices already have almost everything SoftWave needs to succeed. The expensive missing piece is the technology — and that's the one piece Wave The Pain Away helps solve.

The patients

Weekly musculoskeletal complaints, plateaued cases, and patients seeking non-invasive options.

The room

A treatment space you're already paying for between other appointments.

The relationship

Local reputation and trust that took years to build — and doesn't transfer to a new provider down the street.

The systems

Scheduling and payment already in place. Adding SoftWave doesn't mean rebuilding your operation.

The technology

What is SoftWave TRT?

SoftWave TRT is an electrohydraulic extracorporeal shockwave (ESWT) technology that uses a broad, unfocused acoustic treatment field — a meaningfully different approach from the low-cost radial pressure-wave devices often marketed under the same "shockwave" label.

FDA-cleared indications

SoftWave TRT holds FDA 510(k) clearance for connective tissue activation, temporary increase in local blood circulation, and temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain, stiffness, and muscle spasm. Separate clearances exist for diabetic foot ulcers and superficial burns in wound-care settings.

How it's delivered

Acoustic energy is applied to the skin over the treatment area with a handheld applicator. Sessions are typically brief, and no incision, injection, or anesthesia is involved.

Why the technology differs

Electrohydraulic, broad-focused shockwave differs mechanically from focused shockwave and from radial pressure-wave devices — a distinction worth understanding before comparing price tags. Full detail is on the SoftWave TRT page.

The business case

Advanced patient care can also be good business.

Clinical value

A legitimate, FDA-cleared, non-invasive option that can complement the care you already provide — particularly for patients who've plateaued with other approaches.

Financial value

A potential cash-pay service using patient relationships and treatment space you already have — without the capital outlay of buying the equipment.

Low barrier to entry

Wave The Pain Away removes the financial and operational friction that normally sits between a practice and a $75,000 buying decision.

How it works

Six steps. No equipment purchase.

The important point: you don't need to gamble $75,000 to find out whether your patients will use SoftWave. Wave The Pain Away is built to let you find out first.

Not all shockwave is the same

The technology gap is bigger than the price gap.

A $5,000 radial device and a $75,000 electrohydraulic SoftWave system both get called "shockwave." The mechanism, the energy, and what that means for your patients aren't in the same category.

"We added SoftWave and watched patient interest grow from day one. It didn't require rethinking how our practice runs — it gave us another way to help the patients we already see."

Before you ask

The questions every provider asks first.

No. Wave The Pain Away's model is built specifically so you can offer SoftWave TRT without purchasing the equipment. Some practices eventually choose to purchase their own device once utilization supports it — that decision is entirely yours, and entirely optional.

Wave The Pain Away is compensated through the access/program structure providers use to bring SoftWave into their practice — not by selling you equipment upfront. Wave The Pain Away succeeds when your practice actually uses the technology, which keeps the incentives aligned. Full detail is on the practice economics page.

No. There's no franchise fee, no territory purchase, and no royalty structure. Wave The Pain Away is a technology-access and implementation program for your existing practice.

Commitment structures are discussed directly with your Wave The Pain Away contact, since they can depend on your market and goals. Ask us directly during your provider demo — we'd rather give you a straight answer than a generic one.
